How Often Is Your Data Refreshed?
Q: How often is your swap rate, forward curve, FX, and government bond data updated?
Swap rates & forward curves (major currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD): refreshed roughly every 30 seconds. Less liquid currencies are updated every few minutes up to 1 hour.
FX rates:
Real-time streaming (via SSE): provides live updates as new prices arrive.
Non-streaming mode: refreshed once per minute.
Government bonds: updated once daily, reflecting the latest end-of-day market levels.
API & Excel Add-In: pull from the same data source as the app — meaning the update frequency matches what’s above.
Why the update frequency varies
Market Liquidity: Major currencies trade continuously, allowing near-live updates.
Quote Availability: For thinner markets, updates only appear when new quotes are available — ensuring you see genuine price changes, not repeats of stale data.
